FIELD: veterinary science and medicine. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to development of disinfectant agent - "Theotropin" of the formula (C<SB>18</SB>H<SB>16</SB>N<SB>4</SB>). Preparation shows virulicide and Bactericidal effect, low toxicity level and chemical aggressivity. Disinfection is carried out with 0.1-5% aqueous solutions of preparation by methods of spraying or as an aerosol. Preparation does not exhibit toxic effect on animals and birds. It can be synthesized from the home raw and retains its disinfecting properties in aqueous solution for 120 days, not less.
