The ski boot comprises a comfort inner shoe (8), a lower shell (1) forming the sole and foot section, and a mesh-formed ankle surrounding part (2) pivotable via a link (3) in the ankle region. The upper section of the boot has a closing and tensioning strap (62) having a lower ankle strap (61) hinged on the mesh-formed part and having a closing and tensioning buckle.The straps are made from a material which is more rigid than the material used for the mesh-formed part.
