PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent such an error as the unattachment of an adjusting fixture, at the time of making a high-voltage output adjustment, at a low cost by permitting the high-voltage output adjustment, only when the removal of a developing unit to be detected by a developing nit presence/absence signal and the attachment of an adjusting fixture unit to be detected by a drum surface temperature signal are detected. SOLUTION: When a printer CPU 110 is connected to the adjusting fixture unit, the printer CPU 110 recognizes that the developing unit 46 is not connected. Further, a thermistor 46a for detecting the surface temp. of a photoreceptor drum outputs a signal changed according to the temperature value of the photoreceptor drum and judges that the adjusting fixture unit is connected to a connector, when the signal is a voltage of 0V, to permit the high-voltage output adjustment. When a supplied signal is a voltage of +1.2V-+3.8V, it is judged that there is a possibility that the developing unit 46 is connected, not to permit the high-voltage output adjustment. |
