<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a changeover mechanism between a normal F/R (fast forwarding/rewinding) mode and a high speed F/R mode. SOLUTION: In the reel base driving mechanism for transmitting the rotation of a changeover gear 53 via an oscillatory idle gear 29 to reel bases, the changeover gear 53 is energized by a spring 56 in the direction of meshing a small diametral gear 55 of this gear 53 with a large diametral gear 26 of a normal gear 25, and is also energized by a leaf spring 6 having stronger energizing force than the spring 56 in the opposite direction. Then, a slider 7 to be slid by changing the modes is worked to press the leaf spring 6 so as not to act the energizing force of the leaf spring 6 upon the changeover gear 53 at the time of a play mode and the normal F/R mode, and is slid into a position where no influence of the energizing force of the leaf spring 6 to the changeover gear 53 is exerted at the time of the high speed F/R mode.</p> |
