<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a necessary task terminating process with the electric power from a secondary battery and to securely stop supplying the electric power from the secondary battery to respective device parts and stably perform a stopping process by allowing a main power source control part to instructing a computer device to start the task terminating process when detecting the power failure of the external power source and stopping supplying the output of the main power source to the respective device parts. SOLUTION: In case of the power failure, the CPU on the side of the computer device main body 100 is instructed to start the task terminating process through an extension bus 19. On the side of the computer device main body 100, the task terminating process is performed. Even if the computer device main body 100 and a facsimile unit 200 have no problems in subsequent operation at this time even if the main power source output is cut off. Then when the CPU reports the completion of the task terminating process, the main power source output from the voltage stabilizing circuit of a PSU 400 becomes inactive to stop supplying the electric power to the computer device main body 100 and facsimile unit 200, so that the whole device stops operating.</p> |
