PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical communication method and an optical communication device which significantly improve the communication speed of conventional optical communications. SOLUTION: This optical communication device is provided with a digital-to- analog converter 1, a waveform synthesizer 2 which synthesizes plural analog signals into one analog signal, a light emitting device 3 which converts an analog signal outputted from the synthesizer 2 into an optical signal, a light receiving device 5 which receives an optical signal and converts it into an analog signal, a waveform decomposing device 6 which decomposes one analog signal outputted from the device 5 into plural analog signals by using a system such as Fourier transformation, etc. One analog signal, that is generated by separately performing digital-to-analog conversion of serial data having plural different information sources and synthesis, is converted into the intensities of light, and a light receiving end decomposes them into each analog signal by using a system such as Fourier transformation and reproduces serial data which have plural original different information sources by performing analog-to- digital conversion. |
