<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture recognizing device capable of handwritten picture recognition even in an arbitrary space. SOLUTION: When a user or the like moves the top end part 11a of a casing 11 in an arbitrary space, a picture recognizing device 10 senses that the constituting part of a picture such as a character is being described by a pressure sensing sensor 16 fixed to the grip part (S2), detects the orbit of the three- dimensional movement of a pen top 11a while it is sensed (S3-S6), and converts the orbit into second-dimensional picture data (S7-S8). Then, the picture data are compared and collated with picture data stored in a character dictionary, and a picture being a candidate is displayed on a displaying means 15 (S9-S11).</p> |
