PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service method for an automatic answering telephone that can inform only a message to a specific caller when a receiver who contracts with an automatic answering telephone service has an incoming call. SOLUTION: A subscriber Y contracting with an automatic answering telephone service and a message service accesses a sound store device 4 from a switchboard 2 on an incoming call side and records a password and a message. If a subscriber X tries to call the subscriber Y and the subscriber is outside an area or cannot respond with a power supply of a mobile equipment 13 switched off, the switchboard 2 on the incoming call side connects the subscriber X to the sound store device 4 and the subscriber X transmits a response message to the subscriber Y. When this password is the same as the password of the subscriber Y, the subscriber X can hear the message for the subscriber Y. |
