Disabling apparatus (10) for disabling an engine including: a body (11) having engagement means (12) adapted to threadedly engage in a preselected threaded port of the engine to be disabled so as to prevent effective operation of the engine; securing means (29) for selectively securing said engagement means in said port, said securing means cooperating with said engagement means (12) and being movable from a securing position in which said securing means engages with a portion of the engine to secure said engagement means in the preselected port and a non-securing position in which said securing means is disengaged from the engine and said engagement means may be removed from the preselected port, and locking means (17) operatively connected to said securing means for locking said securing means in said securing position. |
