Process and installation in which evaporation is carried out at ambient temperature, for which purpose the liquid and the materials which accompany it are passed through nozzles, accelerating their discharge at high velocities with the aid of compressed air, small droplets being achieved in the form of micronic curtains which create low-pressure vortexes in their wakes, taking the necessary heat from the air and evaporating the water so that the solid particles are precipitated out from the current of the stream falling under their own gravity and remaining separated. <IMAGE>
