PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a fuel supply stopping state continuously during a process from deceleration to stopping, and prevent engine stopping from being generated frequently by disengaging a clutch so as to stop driving of an internal combustion engine with a dynamo-electric machine when engine stopping conditions including the fuel supply stopping state are satisfied. SOLUTION: When fuel supply stopping conditions, such as an idle switch 37 set ON, vehicle speed at a prescribed value Vcut or higher, and engine rotational speed at a prescribed value Ncut or higher are satisfied, fuel injection is stopped by a control unit 15. A lock-up clutch confirms a tightening state from a lock-up signal sent from an automatic transmission control unit 14, and if it is tightened, it is discriminated as kept at a decelerating mode from a high speed, and regenerative braking is applied by a dynamo-electric machine 10 to decrease vehicle speed. At the time of no applying of lock-up clutch, the fuel injection is restarted, and the engine stopping is prohibited if the charging amount of a high-voltage battery 33 is smaller than a threshold value with engine rotational speed kept lower than a prescribed value. |
