PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject new member playing some role on the prevention, improvement and treatment of functional disorders or diseases including chronic renal insufficiency, renal diseases in final disease stages, uremic bone diseases and cancer but not limited to the diseases. SOLUTION: This IPT-1 polypeptide contains an amino acid sequence of the formula. The polypeptide can genetically be produced from a polynucleotide with encodes the IPT-1 and can be obtained by the EST analysis of a cDNA library derived from a mRNA in the cell of human small intestine or lung by standard cloning and screening methods. |
