<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain generated distortion low, to hold a pressureproofing property and to display strength all over a conduit run by providing deformed induction parts at more than one points along the pipe axial direction higher in hardness and residual stress than a peripheral part. SOLUTION: Six pieces of deformed induction parts 2 are axialsymmetrically provided with intervals I1 along the pipe axial direction from a position of I2 from both ends of a pipe. When a pipe body 1 is compressed in the pipe axial direction, axial symmetrical waveform buckling deformation occurs, and non-axial symmetrical deformation does not occur. Parameters I1 , I2 showing an introducing position of the deformed induction part 2 and their number are selected in accordance with a kind and shape of the pipe body 1. In order to provide the pipe body, in case of specifying a pipe outside diameter as D and pipe thickness (t), it is set as I-=2.5.(Dt)<1/2> , I1 =2.I2 . Width of the deformed induction part 2 is also selected by the kind and the shape of the pipe body 1, and it is made as (1-10).t. The pipe body 1 is also applied to a metallic pipe, a resin pipe and a composite material pipe. Hardness of the deformed induction part and distribution of the residual stress in the pipe thickness direction can be constant or have inclination.</p> |
