PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cultivation culture medium for mushrooms, capable of reducing the amount of sawdust powder, rice bran, etc., used and improved in safety, quality and yield increasing effects by including a microorganism having the productivity of a polyol therein. SOLUTION: This cultivation culture medium for mushrooms contains preferably 1-45 wt.% (based on the dry weight of the cultivation culture medium) of a microorganism having the productivity of a polyol such as erythritol, glycerol or arabitol. Furthermore, the microorganism is preferably Trichosporonoides megachiliensis SN G42 strain (FERM BP-1430), Aureobasidium sp. SN-45 strain (FERM P-7594), Trichosporonoides oedocephalis TO-242-14 strain (FERM BP-5773), Moniliella pollinis CBS461-67 strain, Torulopsis sp. SN-18 strain (FERM P-7593) or Burettanomyces sp. SN-88 strain (FERM P-7595). |
