PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a train operation control system that is able to perform a safety and smooth train operation control without resting on both wire and radio communication networks on the ground. SOLUTION: An information collection controlling means 750a receives and controls each environmental observation information to be transmitted out of a railroad crossing, an anemometer, a falling-rock detector and a tunnel monitor via a geostationary satellite and thereby this received information is stored in an area corresponding to a storage part 740. Likewise, an operation command decision means 750b performs its control to determine a changeover command between a train operation command and a ground signal on the basis of data to be stored in the storage part 740. Then, an operation command transmittance controlling means 750c performs its control to transmit the operation command and the changeover command determined by the operation command decision means 750b to the corresponding train and the ground signal, respectively. |
