PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for continuously producing a composition for wood-based molding, suitably useful as a molding material such as a material for extrusion molding, a material for thermocompression molding and a material for injection molding. SOLUTION: In this method for producing a composition for wood-based molding from a woody material, a chemical modification agent for esterifying the woody material and a thermoplastic synthetic resin, a woody material flow which is a first flow is mixed with the chemical modification agent which is a second flow to give a third flow. The third flow is continuously heated and kneaded to esterify the woody material. Then immediately, the third flow is mixed with a thermoplastic synthetic resin flow which is a forth flow to form a fifth flow. The fifth flow is continuously heated and kneaded to form the objective composition flow for woody based-molding. |
