PURPOSE:To improve operability by converting offset data and component mounting position data into data with the origin of a board as a reference, and then developing it to absolute position data. CONSTITUTION:If the reference origin of offset data indicating where the positions of mounting position data of a plurality of electronic components and a component mounting pattern are formed on a board is different from the origin of the board, the position of converted offset data with the origin of the board as a reference is first set on the board. The coordinates of the position is used to coordinates-convert the mounting position data and the offset data to data with the origin of the board as a reference. Then, absolute positions of the respective electronic components on the board are developed with the converted mounting position data and the offset data. Thus, even if the origin to become the reference of the component mounting position data and the offset data is different from that of XY axes of an apparatus, all the data can be automatically converted to the data responsive to the origin of the XY axes, thereby improving its operability. |
