The boot has a shell (2) which is extended laterally by two wings (3,4). Two support zones (A), at the base of the wings, cooperate with support zones (A') on the base of the articulated back part (5) of the leg when this moves forwards. The boot is fastened by clips (14) that surround the back part of the leg. The upper portion of the back part of the leg slides between the wings to prevent forward flexing. Two support zones (B), at the top of the wings, cooperate with support zones (B') on the front part of the leg (6).
