The video output circuit includes a video detector circuit (1) which provides a video signal. A sound carrier stop unit (5) removes a sound carrier from the video signal. A m half section low pass filter (8) is located between the video detector and the video signal amplifier and is connected in series with the sound carrier stop unit. Preferably, the low pass filter includes a inductance (9) to which a first capacitor is connected in parallel. A second capacitor (1) is provided between the connection point of inductance and the first capacitor and earth. The parallel half section is located between the sound carrier stop unit and the video signal amplifier. The connection point to which the second capacitor is connected is connected to the video signal amplifier.
