<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a color toner excellent in transparency and having electrostatic chargeability excellent in environmental stability by using a specified substd. amide precursor compd. SOLUTION: This toner contains a compd. represented by the formula (where X1 and X2 are H, Na or K and Y1 and Y2 are H, Cl or methyl) and a quinacridone colorant selected from among C.I. Pigment Red 122, C.I. Pigment Violet 19, etc., as a colorant. The compd. is preferably contained by 0.001-5.0 wt.% of the amt. of a resin in the toner so as to satisfy dispersing performance and action as a charging aid. In the case of <0.001 wt.%, colorant dispersing effect is not satisfactory and the effect of addition is not well produced. In the case of >5 wt.%, the compd. is liable to produce a harmful effect such as a leak on electrostatic chargeability and the quantity of electric charges may be reduced.</p> |
