<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need of scanning with irradiating light by making a distance between light receiving cells correspond to a distance between light spots one to one and condensing the respective light spots within the ranges of the corresponding light receiving cells of a light receiving device. SOLUTION: By setting the distance between the light receiving cells of the light receiving device 20 to '5μm' and the distance between the light spots condensed on the device 20 to '5μm', the distance between the light receiving cells is made to correspond to the distance between the light spots '1:1'. Therefore, the respective light spots condensed on the device 20 are condensed within the ranges of the corresponding light receiving cells of the device 20. There exists no gap to be filled by making the light spot scan on a confocal image plane in the device 20, and a confocal image is obtained without performing scanning. As a result, the distance between the light receiving cells of the device 20 is made to correspond to the distance between the condensed light spots '1:1' and the respective light spots are condensed within the ranges of the corresponding light receiving cells of the device 20, so that the scanning with the irradiating light is eliminated.</p> |
