PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a course setting system which can set a more appropriate course to a driver. SOLUTION: When a driver inputs a goal, the process advances from step S2 to S3 where habit of the driver is evaluated based on a data stored at a habit memory section. A course connecting a plurality of points is then calculated an a plurality of candidate courses comprising a plurality of connected road links are configured (step S4). Furthermore, VICS information, road traffic information service and weather forecast service are acquired and the features of each candidate course thus configured are evaluated (step S5). At step S6, the habit of the driver evaluated at step 3 is compared with the features of each candidate course evaluated at step S5 and a candidate course having features optimal to the habit of the driver, i.e., a candidate course having a larger number of elements matching with the habit of the driver, is set as a recommended course. |
