PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce man-hours by eliminating the need for a detaching process of a cover. SOLUTION: A cover 13 is temporarily assembled to a socket body 12 in a state that the second engagement portion 50 of an operation lever 46 comes to the upper edge of a base insertion portion 16 and a temporary locking piece 40 is locked with a temporary locking groove 30. At this point, the cover 13 projects above the socket body 12 and a luminescence portion 2 of an installed bulb 1 is covered with the cover 13 to be protected. When fitting to a mounting hole 8 of a panel 7, a guide surface 49 in the first connection part 48 of the operation lever 46 hits the edge of the mounting hole 8 and thereby swinging of the operation lever 46 to disengage an engagement of the second engagement portion 50 and the cover 13 is relatively stored in the socket body 12 by an upward movement of the socket body 12 and permanently assembled by locking the locking piece 41 with the locking grooves 31. The luminescence part 2 of the bulb 1 is exposed on an upper side of the panel 7 and is clamped between a pair of projections 52 in inner surfaces of the cover 13, thereby looseness is prevented. |
