PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow even the facsimile equipment provided with a print device not generating heat to supervise occurrence of a print fault due to other causes than shortage of toner or the like. SOLUTION: A memory 5 stores binary image data received by a communication control section 4 and outputs the binary image data to a print control section 6 on the other hand. The print control section 6 prints out image denoted by the binary image data and a print system simple scanner 8 reads a prescribed area of a recorded image to be printed out to convert the data into multi-value image data. An image processing section 3 converts the multi-value image data into binary image data and outputs the data to a comparison control section 9. The comparison control section 9 compares a black rate of the binary image data stored at present in the memory 5 with that of the binary image data received from the image processing section 3 for each prescribed block to discriminate the presence of a print fault and gives an instruction of print stop and print disable display to the print control section 6 and a control display section 7 on the occurrence of a fault. |
