PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image compositing device capable of highly accurately executing positioning and gradation matching between adjacent images in the plural images to be composited and obtaining the composited images of high quality. SOLUTION: In this image compositing device, the two images adjacent to each other in the inputted plural images are selected by an image selection part 103 and a coordinate transformation parameter generation processing for the positioning between the selected two images and a gradation transformation parameter generation processing for the gradation matching between the inputted two images are performed in an adjacent image parameter generation part 104. To respective coordinate transformation parameters and respective gradation transformation parameters, an optimization processing is executed so as to match joint positions and gradations between the respective images in an entire image adjustment part 105 and the inputted plural images are composited based on the coordinate transformation parameters and the gradation transformation parameters processed by the optimization processing.
