摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the quality of a display picture by adding difference voltage for cancelling the fluctuation amount of a picture element signal to a reference potential signal having frequency being the integral multiple of vertical synchronizing frequency impressed on a reference potential line in the case of the fluctuation of the picture element signal. SOLUTION: A difference is made in the effective value of liquid crystal driving voltage between a picture element near to a selection start end on a screen and a picture element far from it. In order to correct the difference, the potential of the flat part of the rectangular wave of the reference potential signal is temporally changed like voltage 113 or 114. Such variation is nearly linear to a spatial distance and a temporal distance from the almost selection start end, so that it is corrected with very high accuracy by changing the potential of the flat part of the reference potential signal in terms of linear function by the rectangular wave. By correcting liquid crystal driving voltage, 1V AC driving is realized without a failure in display picture quality. The 1V AC driving makes driving possible with low power consumption by using a lowvoltage and breakdown-strength display signal driver, realizes the low voltage and the reduction of cost in the display signal driver, and prevents the deterioration of the picture quality such as flicker therein.</p>
