PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector which can facilitate to achieve automatic mounting of flat wires such as FPC(flexible printed circuit board) and the like. SOLUTION: This connector comprises a housing which is composed of a first and second pinching members 3 and 4, wherein the second pinching member 4 is turned and biased to the side of the first pinching member 3 and the slider 6 is made to be slid in a direction of insertion and pulling out of a FPC 5 with the help of spring force of the contact 10 secured in the housing. With this mechanism, the slider 6 turns the second pinching member 4 so that either an open state, wherein the FPC 5 clan be inserted or extracted freely, or a pressing contact state, wherein the contact 10 is pressed and contacted to the FPC 5, is realized. |
