PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable preventing effectively destruction of a horizontal deflection output transistor by providing a means detecting voltage applied to the horizontal deflection output transistor and a means stopping drive of the horizontal deflection output transistor based on a detected result. SOLUTION: A destruction protecting circuit 7 for horizontal deflection output transistor detects voltage of a flyback pulse 21 by capacitors 8, 9. And after it is rectified by a diode 10, when it is voltage decided by resistors 11, 12 or more, a zener diode 13, a thyristor 14, and a transistor 15 are turned on, base voltage of a horizontal deflection output transistor 2 is made 0, and drive of the horizontal deflection output transistor 2 is stopped. Then, destruction of the horizontal deflection output transistor 2 can be prevented by setting resistance values of the resistors 11, 12 so that voltage of the flyback pulse 21 is not made higher than a rating voltage of the horizontal deflection output transistor 2 or more. |
