Shipping room transport system with electric linear drive

The sheet handler takes folded sheets from a rapid output feeder and stacks them with an overlapping pattern on an output feeder. Grips (6) are guided between parallel guide rails (4) which run through a linear drive track (18) and up and back to the start, for a continuous drive. The grips take the folded sheets at the start of the linear drive and decelerate them to stack onto the output feeder. The linear drive starts from a transfer station with the transfer taking place at the speed of the feeder. After deceleration the folded sheets are stacked and the grips run back over the loop.
