<p>The mattress base (3) rests on a rigid frame and part of it is raised by articulated lateral supports (7). The supports are joined by two horizontal rods (10) which are fixed to the bottom of the mattress base by plates (11) with bearings. A bent rod (12) is joined to each end of the horizontal rods.
