<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink which can give a beautiful drawn line for use in writing on absorbing paper as well as on non-absorbing paper by incorporating ethanol, at least either ethylcellulose or polyvinyl butyral soluble therein, at least either an acrylic resin or polyvinylpyrrolidone, an aluminum pigment and a coloring pigment. SOLUTION: In a metallic gloss color ink composition, the aluminum pigment is used to develop a metallic gloss color and is desirably one surface-treated by reaction with ethanol. It is used in an amount of 1-15 wt.% based on the total ink composition. The coloring pigment is an organic pigment being in the form of a dispersion in ethanol or being desirably a processed one in virtue of its long-term stability, etc. The ethanol-soluble resin comprises at least one member selected from ethylcellulose and polyvinyl butyral and at least one member selected from acrylic resins and polyvinylpyrrolidone, allowed to act both on the surface of the coloring pigment and on the surface of the aluminum pigment and is used to form a stably dispersed ink.</p> |
