PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam machine and a laser beam machining method capable of performing the laser beam machining with excellent accuracy by directly comparing the laser beam machining position to a work. SOLUTION: A Baser beam machine to perform the machining by converging the laser beam L emitted front a laser beam oscillator 1 and irradiating the laser beam on a work W, comprises a first CCD camera 5 to pick up the image of the machining range of the work W before machining, a second CCD camera 6 to pick up the image of the locus of the laser beam L at the work W, and a control part 7 to calculate the positional deviation of the laser beam machining position to the work W by comparing the image data of the range to be machined obtained by the first CCD camera 5 with the locus data of the laser beam L obtained by the second CCD camera 6 and to correct the laser beam machining position. |
