PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use pH of a waste cooling water as a pH controlling agent for fly ash and therefore, to effectively use both of the water and ash, by using a pit water in a cooling water pit as a pH controlling agent for a molten fly ash. SOLUTION: The system is equipped with a conduit 7 to introduce a cooling water 1A from a cooling water pit 1 to an acid or alkali soln. tank 5. The open port of the conduit 7 in the cooling water pit 1 side is provided with a strainer or a filter 7S to remove slug, and the conduit 7 is provided with an opening and closing valve 7A, and if necessary with a pump 7B. The cooling water 1A is used as an acid pH controlling agent and is used as an acid controlling agent for molten fly ash. When a molten fly ash after the treatment is put in water and enough stirred and then the pH of the soln. is measured, a neutral value of pH=7 is obtd., which means that the result is same when hydrochloric acid is used as an acid controlling agent. |
