PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decide whether human cancer cells are sensitive or tolerant to a drug and detect the progresses of tumor by analyzing the transcript of a gene selected from the tumor cell sample to decide whether a specific DNA sequence suggesting the drug tolerance occurs therein or not. SOLUTION: (i) Human gene is selected to include a DNA or RNA sequence in which the transcription product of the gene originating from drug-sensitive cells and the transcription product of the gene originating from drug-resistant cells are specifically different from each other, (ii) it is a dMTP in a cancer sell sample as colon carcinoma or ovarian cancer and the transcription of the gene that is selected because it has a probe having sequences AGG, ATG, TGT TGT GGA TCT GCC CA is analyzed to decide whether there is a specific DNA sequence suggesting the drug resistance, for example, to cisplatin whereby whether the human cells are sensitive or tolerant to the drug is decided. |
