FIELD: forestry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has housing with conical beater cylinder provided with auger and whips. Beater cylinder is connected with nut grading cylinders mounted in succession on shaft. Augers are positioned within grading cylinders. Coiling of first grading cylinder auger is oriented in direction opposed to that of beater cylinder. Second grading cylinder has nut shell discharge opening. Diameter of second grading cylinder exceeds that of first grading cylinder.
