The machine has a frame supporting a toothed upper cutter and an aligned straight lower cutter. It has an intermittent pusher drive for the strip material. The upper cutter is moved downwardly through a cylically operated eccentric drive to cause a cutting stroke and returned by upward drive springs. A machine cover plate (4) is screwed to the frame of the machine to retain the shaft and eccentric (11) and allow exchange.
