The invention concerns a motor vehicle sensor arrangement which is used to detect the jamming of a movable panel which can be moved into an end position. A cavity (5) with resilient walls (6, 7) is located in the vicinity of and externally of the path of movement of the panel (9). The distance between one of these walls and the opposite wall is reduced when an object is jammed. A distance sender unit is provided for giving the distance between the two walls. The response path of said unit is substantially shorter than the distance between the two walls.
