PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the electrode formed on a photodetecting face of a solar cell element by forming an oxide film on the electrode surface. SOLUTION: A solar cell element 16 is set on a holder 2, a surface-treating gas produced by a structure treating gas producer 17 fed into a reactor chamber 19 to oxidize only the surface portion of 1×10<-3> -1×10<-1> μm thick of a photodetecting surface electrode, thereby forming an oxide film. If it is equal to or less than 1×10<-3> μm, its durability will be low, and if it is equal to or over 1×10<-1> μm, its solder wettability will be low. The surface treatment of the electrode forms a black thin film on the surface, and this stabilizes the electrode. |
