PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a phased sprocket assembly in a complex geometrical shape at low costs with neither geometrical change nor geometrical strain accompanied. SOLUTION: Idler cam sprockets 24 and 26 made of metallic powder are disposed to the spline part 40 on an idler shaft. In this case, the respective idler cam sprockets 24 and 26 are off-set over the circumference of each sprocket in such a way that the outer circumferentical sprocket teeth of the idler cam sprocket 24 can be rotated by the specified number of the sprocket teeth with respect to the outer circumferential sprocket teeth of the idler cam sprocket 26. Next, the respective idler cam sprockets 24 and 26 are welded with each other by means of capacitor discharge welding. |
