摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excessive-length storage system which is increased in the number of stored cores of an optical wiring rack and adaptive to improved mount density of the optical branching module and makes connecting operation easier and has superior constructing performance. SOLUTION: An optical fiber 39 on the side of an optical coupler 35 is wired precedently in the optical branching module 20, previously secured connection excessive length 44 is stored in a small-diameter storage part 41a formed in an excessive-length storage part 41, and after the optical branching module 20 is carried in to a specific position, only the tip of the connection excessive length 44 is drawn out and connected to another optical fiber 43 by fusion splicing; and the connection excessive-length parts 44 and 46 of both the optical fibers 43 and 39 are curved and stored in a large-diameter storage part 41b in the excessive-length storage part 41. Those operations are performed while the optical branching module 20 is mounted on a working jig which is freely attached to and detached from the optical wiring rack.
