METHOD OF TEXTURAL ANALYSIS OF METALS AND ALLOYS

FIELD: study of crystallographic texture of metals and alloys. SUBSTANCE: examined samples or semi-finished products from metals and alloys are subjected to cold pressure working, isochronous annealing and to roentgenography in two radiations as minimum after each treatment. Roentgenography results are interpreted in accordance with laws between treatment modes and predominantly crystallographic orientations in deformed and annealed states of metal or alloy brought out to light. Degree of perfection of textures of deformation and recrystallization as well as their relative quantities are evaluated by levels of relationships of intensities of two interference lines chosen in dependence with mode of treatment of metal or alloy.
