Treatment of exhaust gases from diesel and lean burn IC engines to reduce emission of nitrogen oxide(s)

摘要

Treatment of gases to reduce emissions of nitrogen oxides by the use of a catalyst based on at least one metal is claimed.The catalytic phase is obtained by irradiation of salt(s) of the metal(s) of the catalytic phase with an ionising or photoionising radiation source. Also claimed are the microaggregates obtained by the process and their use in the preparation of the catalytic system.
