Here is a new method of injection-moulding a plastic component with differing internal and external compositions. A set quantity (QA) of a first material (A) is pressure injected (10, 20) into a moulding cavity. This has an internal wall (2), at least part-defining the component. The injected material is mixed, keeping it at least part-fluid, within the cavity. Whilst still in this state, a second substance (B) is introduced, in a quantity (QB). This is pressure injected into the first (A) material, by either the first (10, 20) or a second (30) pressure injection system. This second injection, forms a pocket (5) of the second material (B) within the first (A). The component created, is allowed to set before extraction. Also claimed is the corresponding equipment to carry out the process.
