MANUAL SEMIAUTOMATIC SAMPLER FOR PRESSED WOOL

FIELD: examination and analysis of materials. SUBSTANCE: pressed wool sampler has tube with endpiece-knife on one of its ends, tube drive positioned on its other end and container for gathering of samples. Tube is mounted for introduction into mass of wool to depth of at least 93 per cent of wool pack height. Tube drive is made as vibrator for tube reciprocation in direction of its introduction with amplitude of at least 5 mm and oscillation frequency of 5-50 Hz for wool sampling from packs with pressing density of not less than 400 kg/cu.m. Sampler makes it possible to take samples from packs of unwashed and washed wool with pressing density of up to 500 kg/cu. cm. It can take samples from packs being in horizontal and vertical positions. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reliability. 1 dwgc
