FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: ventilation shaft is sunk to limit depth of mining of kimberlite pipe by opencast, and made in opencast center is raise connected with ventilation shaft by horizontal working, and in point of their junction, chamber is driven for mounting of air heaters. Opencast is ventilated by natural draft through workings driven in permafrost mass of rocks. Draft intensity in winter time is regulated by the degree of air heating by air heater, determined by equations of aerodynamic and thermal physics. EFFECT: reduced consumption of air draft. 1 dwgu
