PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a complicated curved surfaces of a three dimensional object to be correctly and efficiently modeled. SOLUTION: Geometric information on an object is provided to a skeleton graph which has phase geometry in the background. A node and an edge of the object are inputted with geometric information (S1, S2). Then an auxiliary curve, which indicates an outline and an external size of the object, is inputted (S3 and S4). Thus, modeling is completed. By specifying both phase information and geometric information on the object, curve surfaces are precisely and uniquely specified. |
