Connecting plate for fitted baths and showers

The connecting plate into which the bath or shower is fitted is horizontally positionable and forms part of a fitted furniture unit. The furniture unit has a removable front and/or side and/or socket parts (6,7,12). The furniture can have shelves and cupboards. At least one of the cupboards is closable by a door. The connecting plate has one end part (13) drawn upwards in the area adjoining the wall. A wall plate (15) can be fitted on the end part and a seal is provided between the end part and wall plate.
