Trench processing machine

The trenching machine is supported over the top of two vertical lateral shields (1) and includes a conveyor (4) from the front of the machine to the rear. The trench is excavated at the front of the machine and the material is dropped into a breaker stage (5) which spreads the processed material onto the conveyor. The material is moved under hopper dispensers (6) which add binder eg. cement, and pass the mixture to a mixing stage (7) which spreads the prepared mixture into the rear of the trench. The mixed material is spread and tamped by a rear excavator (8) which has a vibrating compactor (10). The machine inches forwards as the trench is processed.
