The heater's combustion air fan (5) and warm air fan (6) are constructed as a modular unit. The combustion air fan is a bypass fan. The warm air fan has an impeller (8) connected to and torsionally fixed on the drive shaft (7), and with an axial annular air inlet section (10) and a radial air outlet section (11) in which are located the guide vanes. The air outlet section tapers conically outwards in the radial direction.
