<p>A roof ventilation system (10) of the type for venting air from under a roof (14) and preventing water, debris and pests from penetrating the ventilation system and entering the interior of the structure is provided. The roof closure vent system includes: a structure having a sloped metal roof (14) having a ridge slot (24) formed along substantially the length of a roof ridge (15) permitting ventilation from the interior under said roof to the exterior; and a ridge closure vent (18) positioned adjacent each longitudinal side of said ridge slot (24) extending substantially along the length thereof fastened between said roof (14) and a ridge panel (16), in place of the ridge closure vent (18) or in combination therewith is an eave closure vent (20) connected beneath said roof substantially along the length of an eave of said roof.</p> |
